Man in summer is like an ant living on fired pan. The heat is killing. Appetite is bad.
Staying at home, and having plenty of time, I tried some recipes from WWW.
Here is one. This dressing is quite healthy.

- Peanut butter (1 tablespoon)
- Light Soy sauce (1.5 tablespoons)
- White vinegar (1.5~2 tablespoons) *apple vinegar or sushi vinegar are also OK.
- Sesame oil (1/2 tablespoon)

This dressing is very good to take with vegetable cucumber, cabbage and tomato.

天時暑熱,在家休養,時間悠長。
閒來無事,進入厨房,找尋新意。
涼拌蔬果,開胃滋養,正合夏暑。

前天有朋友到訪。之前她借了一個平底鑊給我學做班戟(pancake),那次來訪時曾要試試我弄的班戟。可惜我的班戟還沒成功,當然沒有讓她試。於是,今次我弄了另一個算是稍微成功了的小吃給她嘗嘗。

涼拌的醬料參考了網上涼拌粉皮的食譜:
*花生醬 1湯匙
*生抽(淡豉油)1.5湯匙
*白醋(米醋或生果醋也可)1.5至2湯匙
*芝麻油  半湯匙

至於要配什麼生果蔬菜一起吃就隨意。特別推荐青瓜(小黃瓜)和蕃茄(西紅柿),以及蟹柳條。
水果宜選清爽口味的,太甜的水果跟醬料不是很配。如果加粉皮的話,粉皮宜先在涼水中多浸一點時間。
